Hello and No you're not seeing things... unfortunately it's been a whole year since I wanted to start this blog. All I can say is life happens and things get put Way Back On The Burner. Here are a couple adventures I had this year so far. First I celebrated my first year in my newest apartment. It's Very accessible, probably more so than the previous ones I lived in since 2010.  I've made lots of friends and had some pretty funny experiences. In February I had minor surgery to remove bothersome/troublesome wound on my neck that I dealt with for 5years. It's been a major blessing to not have to deal with it anymore.  And finally and most happily this happened:

I was named Ms. Wheelchair Midwestern USA 2016 and afforded the opportunity to participate in the Ms. Wheelchair USA competition which was held in Akron, OH  at St. Vincent/St. Mary (HS Alma Mater to Cleveland Cavalier LeBron James) the last week of July. I had the privilege of competing with 12 beautiful, talented and deserving women from across the country in interviews, evening gown competition and platform speeches.  I PLACED IN THE TOP 7 OUT OF TWELVE and went on to compete in the final round of competition.
I could go on and on about this experience alone for days and still not share all the stories from the week.  That being said, I plan to blog at least every other week, more if I really have lots to share.  Please see my previous post to learn more specifics of who I am and why I started this blog. When you read this, and hopefully enjoy it, please feel free to let me know by leaving a comment.  Tell me a little about you.
